Adjaye's design would open up opportunities for community participation and direction. A centre adjoining the Memorial would have vast potential and comments on the long-term sustainable vision would be appreciated. Ultimately employment and better well-being is paramount and ideas such as a source of learning, with colleges and schools both in the UK and abroad utilising the facilities available, would have international impact. A further vision is to house a centre to assist in the elimination of global slavery and human trafficking. Initiatives to also seek the larger financial connections in the US such as the Smithsonian Institute would be investigated through Sir David Adjaye
